American Lake Veteran Golf Course Golf Cart Initiative: Kyle Murray of Murray’s Collision Group

Every swing at American Lake Veterans Golf Course tells a story — of service, strength, and second chances.

This remarkable course in Lakewood, Washington, was designed exclusively for veterans and stands as a living tribute to courage. It’s more than a golf course — it’s a sanctuary where those who have served our nation find healing, camaraderie, and purpose.

Unlike any other course in the country, American Lake Veterans Golf Course is operated entirely by volunteers. There are no paid staff members. Every dollar donated, every hour volunteered, and every putt sunk contributes directly to creating a world-class experience for our veterans.

But now, the course faces a new challenge. Its aging fleet of golf carts — essential for many players with disabilities — needs critical upgrades and replacements. For countless veterans, these carts are more than transportation; they are the bridge that keeps them connected to the game they love and the community that supports them.

Your support can help write the next chapter of this story — one of resilience and renewal. Together, we can keep this course of courage alive and thriving for generations of veterans to come.
