Bringing Clean, Cooperative Mobility to the Festival


Oktoberfest-goers headed to the Quarterdeck can now skip the parking hassle! ZEV CO-OP (Zero Emission Vehicle Cooperative) is teaming up with the event to offer a dedicated, all-electric shuttle service. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the music, the brews, and the community—worry-free and emission-free. With multiple stops running throughout the day, you can easily catch a ride down to the marina and back to your car when the festivities wrap up.


About ZEV CO-OP


ZEV CO-OP is a nonprofit, member-owned electric car-sharing cooperative committed to transportation equity across Western Washington. The CO-OP offers a mix of zero-emission sedans, vans, and pickup trucks available for short-term use 24/7 through its easy-to-use reservation system.


With subsidized rates for income-qualified users and democratic governance for members, ZEV CO-OP puts community first while reducing the region’s carbon footprint.


Fleet & Logistics


  • Vehicles: 100% electric—no gas, no emissions

  • What’s Included: Vehicle, insurance, charging at pick-up station, maintenance, and support

  • How to Reserve: Book via the ZEV CO-OP app (latest update August 2025)


Rates (as of June 2025):


  • Subscriber rate: from $8/hr (Port Townsend & Ballard locations)

  • Member or income-qualified rate: from $5/hr

  • 150 miles included daily; additional miles $0.45–$0.50

  • Return with at least 50% battery to avoid extra fees
