September in Seattle is serving adventure, impact, and a whole lot of iconic city magic. Whether you’re chasing clues downtown, climbing an icon, stepping into old Hollywood glamour, or connecting with Seattle’s global community, this month is packed with experiences that feel uniquely Seattle.
Many of you may know I love giving you the full scoop, I’ve added a few bonus events that aren’t featured in my KOMO Social in Seattle segment but are absolutely worth your calendar space.
Urban X 2026 – Seattle’s Great Scavenger Hunt

Downtown becomes a giant game board as Urban X transforms Pioneer Square, the International District, and the Stadium District into a live, smartphoneguided scavenger hunt. Teams of 2–4 solve clues, complete photo missions, and unlock surprise checkpoints, with special appearances from Buoy (Seattle Kraken) and Yorka (Seattle Orcas).
It’s high energy, collaborative, and one of the most joyful ways to experience the city. Costumes encouraged, creativity rewarded, and yes… there’s a $1,000 cash prize waiting at the finish line.
Seattle Climb for a Cure at TMobile Park
September 16 • TMobile Park Registration: Seattle CF Climb 2026
If you’re looking for a family event that does good and feels good, this one hits the heart. The Seattle Climb for a Cure invites kids, parents, grandparents — everyone — to explore TMobile Park in a totally new way. You’ll climb, walk, and wander through the stadium from concourse to upper deck, all while supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Every step fuels research, care, and support for families living with CF.
Apropos: An Evening of Jazz, Dinner & Dancing at the Fairmont Olympic

If you’re craving a date night that feels like a movie, the Fairmont Olympic’s Apropos evening is pure vintage glamour. Candlelight, live jazz, a supperclub vibe, and even astrology readings during dinner — because nothing says romance like finding out if your signs are compatible.
Afterward, a 10 piece band takes over for a dance party that feels straight out of old Hollywood.

Bellevue Fashion Week
September 26 – October 3 • Bellevue Collection Website & Tickets:
September 26 • Future Home of KidsQuest Children’s Museum A major fall runway event where every seat is front row. Fashion, food, beauty — all in support of KidsQuest Children’s Museum, with 100% of ticket proceeds benefiting handson learning for local families.
October 3 • Bellevue Square Center Court Hosted by Tyrah Majors and produced by Terri Morgan, this morning runway experience features beauty booths, a 9 AM show, and mini runway moments throughout the day.
Bellevue Fashion Week has been running for over 20 years, making it one of the longestrunning fashion events in the Pacific Northwest.

If you’re ready for a Seattle experience you’ll never forget, Base 2 Space invites climbers to take on the Space Needle’s iconic 832 steps. You’ll wind through openair stairwells, climb the doublehelix structure, and take in views of downtown, Elliott Bay, and Mount Rainier as you go.
At the top, every climber earns a finisher medal, a Tshirt, and full access to the Space Needle’s indoor and outdoor observation decks — including the world’s first revolving glass floor.
Funds raised support Fred Hutch, a global leader in cancer research whose breakthroughs have saved countless lives.
