Seattle’s Triple Door will host LINDA: The Story and Music of Linda Ronstadt on Saturday, December 6, 2025, with producer and powerhouse vocalist Victoria Contreras leading a star-studded lineup. This tribute promises an unforgettable evening celebrating one of America’s most iconic voices.

Linda Ronstadt’s career is the stuff of music history: 31 gold and platinum records, 11 Grammy Awards, and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Her artistry spanned genres, rock, country, opera, mariachi, and the Great American Songbook, making her one of the most versatile and beloved performers of the 20th century. This tribute concert will bring her story to life, weaving together more than 20 of her chart-topping songs, from her folk-rock beginnings to her collaborations with Nelson Riddle and her Spanish-language recordings that honor her Mexican heritage.

At the heart of this production is Victoria W. Contreras (V. Contreras), a Pacific Northwest native whose career began fronting a 25-piece jazz band at age 12. Discovered by Randy Jackson, she went on to collaborate with legendary songwriters like Steve Dorff and Jon Ingoldsby. Contreras has carved out her own path as a singer, songwriter, producer, and advocate, serving as a Recording Academy Governor and Chair of the Grammy Advocacy Committee. Most recently, she released her empowering single “Done Playing Small”, a bold anthem about self-empowerment and resilience that has resonated widely with audiences. Its inclusion in her repertoire underscores the connection between Ronstadt’s trailblazing spirit and Contreras’s own artistic journey, making her leadership of this tribute both musically stunning and deeply intentional.

The evening features a remarkable lineup including Mireya Ramos, Latin Grammy-winning vocalist and violinist, founder of Flor de Toloache, the first all-women mariachi band in New York. Brenna Bruce, Seattle-based singer-songwriter, brings crystalline vocals and folk storytelling to the stage. Mariachi Mi Tierra Seattle, one of the city’s oldest mariachi ensembles, will infuse the performance with authentic Mexican sounds. Music Director Rebecca Young and a band of Seattle’s finest musicians will provide the backbone of the evening, ensuring every arrangement resonates with both nostalgia and fresh energy.

Adding even more soul to the night is Andy Stokes, known as the “Northwest King of Soul.” A two-time inductee into Oregon’s Music Hall of Fame, Stokes has built a career spanning more than three decades, blending silky smooth R&B with gritty emotion. His live performances are celebrated for their energy and connection, moving audiences with both heartfelt ballads and funky grooves. With recent singles like “Turn Back” and “No Better”, Stokes continues to prove his artistry is as vital today as ever. His presence at this tribute underscores the concert’s theme of timeless voices, bringing Ronstadt’s legacy into dialogue with contemporary soul.

This tribute is designed as both a musical journey and a narrative experience, with narration by Nancy Guppy of Art Zone and contributions from this diverse cast of performers, the show promises to be immersive, educational, and celebratory. Audiences will leave with not only cherished memories of Ronstadt’s music but also a deeper appreciation for her trailblazing career.

The event takes place at The Triple Door in Seattle on Saturday, December 6, 2025, with performances at 6:00 PM (all ages, dinner service at 5 PM) and 9:00 PM (21+, dinner service at 8:30 PM). Tickets range from $35–$60 and are available now through The Triple Door.

With Linda Ronstadt’s timeless catalog and Victoria Contreras’s bold new anthem “Done Playing Small”, this concert promises to be both a tribute to the past and a celebration of the future of women in music.
